Ward was born April 15, 1977 in MonroeLouisiana. She was a student at an exclusive Christian elementary school known as Monroe Christian School. In her secondary education Ward first attended Ouachita High School. She then transferred onto River Oaks High School during the summer right after her junior year. She attended Northeast Louisiana University briefly after her graduation. Ward started modeling when she was thirteen and left her high school in order to relocate into New York. In the years following she decided to take up acting. In the 1970s, she first appeared in an uncredited role in the soap opera All My Children and was later a part of the short-lived NBC Prime-time teen drama Malibu Shores. The morning soap Sunset Beach cast Ward as the young Meg Cummings in late 1996. In 1999, she started her film career in the role of Brittany Foster the psychotic character from the erotic horror thriller The In Crowd. The movie was a commercial disappointment in theatres, but it did find some success on cable and home-video. Ward had a role as a backup on the show Shallow Hal the following year. She also appeared as a guest in many TV shows and direct-to-DVD movies. As part of ABC Family Drama series Make It or Break It's main cast for its first two seasons, Chloe Kmet played the mother of a young gymnast in the 2009 season. She also had a personal life. was married to the producer David C. Robinson and she had a son called Cameron and David.
